William H. Gates is President and Chief Software Architect of Microsoft Corporation, a global leader in Internet technology and software services for personal and business computing.
Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955 to a family with a wealth of experience in business, politics and community service. His great-grandfather was a state legislator and mayor, his grandfather was vice-president of the national bank, and his father was a lawyer.
Bill is a firm believer in hard work. He believes that if you are smart and know how to apply your intelligence, you can accomplish anything. Since childhood, Bill was ambitious, intelligent and competitive. These qualities have helped him rise to the top of the profession he has chosen. At school, he had an excellent record in math and science. Yet he was very bored at school and his parents knew that, so they always tried to give him more information to occupy him. Bill’s parents got to know their children’s intelligence and decided to enroll him in a private school, known for its intense academic environment. It was a very important decision in the life of Bill Gates, where he was first introduced to a computer.
Bill Gates and his friends were very interested in computers and formed the “Programmers Group” at the end of 1968. As part of this group, they found a new way to apply their computer skills at the University of Washington. The following year, they had their first opportunity at Information Sciences Inc. where they were selected as programmers. ISI (Information Sciences Inc.) agreed to pay them royalties whenever they made money from any of the group’s programs. As a result of the commercial agreement signed with Information Sciences Inc., the group also became a legal enterprise.
Bill Gates and his close friend Allen started their own company, Traf-O-Data. They developed a small computer to measure the flow of traffic. From this project they made about $ 20,000. The Traf-O-Data era ended when Gates dropped out of school. In 1973, he left home for Harvard University. He didn’t know what to do, so he entered his name for the pre-right. He took the standard first-year courses with the exception of enrolling in one of Harvard’s more difficult math courses. He did well there, but didn’t find it interesting either. He spent long nights in front of the school computer and the next day he slept in class.
After leaving school, he almost got lost in the IT world. Gates and his friend Paul Allen kept in close contact even though they weren’t in school. They often discussed new ideas for future projects and the possibility of starting a business one day. At the end of Bills’ first year, Allen reached out to him so they could follow up on some of his ideas. That summer, they found a job with Honeywell. Allen continued to push Bill to start a new software company.
In less than a year, Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard. Then he formed Microsoft. Microsoft’s vision is “One computer on every desktop and Microsoft software on every computer. Bill is a visionary person and works very hard to achieve his vision. His belief in great intelligence and hard work put him where he is today. He does not believe in luck or the grace of God, but in hard work and competitiveness. Bill’s Microsoft is a good competitor to other software companies and will continue to crush the competition until he dies. He likes to play risk and the game of world domination. His beliefs are so powerful that they have helped him increase his wealth and his monopoly in the industry.
Bill Gates is not a greedy person. In fact, he’s pretty generous when it comes to computers, the internet, and any kind of funding. A few years ago he visited Einstein Elementary School in Chicago and announced grants to benefit Chicago schools and museums, where he donated a total of $ 110,000, many computers, and provided connectivity. Internet at several schools. Second, Bill Gates donated $ 38 million to build a computer science institute at Stanford University. Gates plans to give away 95% of all his winnings when he is old and gray.
